Plans for the Feast of St. Teresa of Avila

Last month while I was looking for ideas to celebrate the feast of St. Therese of Lisieux, I ran across a darling St. Teresa of Avila Paper Doll.

UPDATE: Thanks to a reader, here is a new link for the paper doll!

Since St. Teresa of Avila's feast is celebrated tomorrow, October 15th, I printed the paper doll out onto card stock for my girls. I'm so excited to give it to them... They are going to love it!

Oh! Also in honor of St. Teresa, I am planning on making Pan de Santa Teresa (St. Teresa's Bread) for breakfast. I just posted the recipe over at Catholic Cuisine. It sounds very yummy and fairly simple... Right now, simple is good! :)

Oh my Lord! How true it is that whoever works for you is paid in troubles! And what a precious price to those who love you if we understand its value. ~ Saint Teresa of Avila

  1. LOVE IT!!!! I have a whole shoebox(and then some) FULL of paper dolls. I have collected paper dolls for awhile, from Saints, to Dolls from around the world, there's Shirley Temple, American Girl, and too many more to think of. I have been adding to them over the years and have been saving them for Punky...hoping she WILL someday play with them. This one of St. Teresa is beautiful. I will add it into the box. Thanks for sharing.
    Blessings

I love paper dolls. I haven't collected them in years. I actually have... lol... a paper doll set of Ronald and Nancy Reagan, never used. I wonder how much that thing is worth! Oh well, it is in a box somewhere.

Thank you for sharing the link Jessica!

    And see you tonight! YEAH!

  8. Angela ~ I wish I could help you. . . I think I downloaded it to my old computer, when I first ran across it online, and I haven't been able to find the document on my "new" computer. I have been looking a number of times over the past few months. If you find a copy somewhere I'd love a copy as well!
