In My Purse

I've had a rather rough couple days... On Tuesday, while on our way home from an afternoon full of errands, I was picking up some produce from the farm and seemed to have damaged a nerve in my pointer finger/hand from carrying too many plastic bags at once.  (The numbness/tingling sensation has still not gone away, and is proving to be quite challenging at times.)  I do have an appointment with my doctor in a couple hours.  Anyhow, yesterday I was craving CHOCOLATE.  I thought, perhaps, it would distract from my hand. ;)  And not just any chocolate.  It had to be really good!!  When I saw the new Lindt chocolates, I couldn't resist.  Oh and look!! There are my Gymbucks peeking out from behind -- those won't be there long!! Life is good!

Mary ~ Gymbucks are a special couple you receive at Gymboree (my favorite store for my little girls dresses) for spending $50 or more at special times of the year. You then get a coupon for $25 off your next purchase of $50. The current redemption period for Gymbucks began today! =)

a nice thing about a blog is you can ask more people for prayer, and while I do not know of an appropriate patron saint off-hand (pun intended), I prayed anyway.
and the Lindt chocolate with the fiery pepper flavor is my nemesis, I mean, favorite...

I am sorry to hear about your finger. It sounds like you might have carpal tunnel syndrome. One of my sisters suffers from this when she is pregnant.

Sorry to hear about your thumb. Feel better soon!!
As for the purse--I have to agree that pregnancy and chocolate just go together!!

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me.

Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven.

Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son.

Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family.

Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven.

Amen.
