Small Successes :: Looking at the Bright Side...

"It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that."

~ 1 ~

Our little Rose has not gotten sick, despite the fact that her Momma and five siblings have all been sick this week.   Thank goodness for all those antibodies from nursing!  And thank goodness that only three of us threw up!  Now if we could just get all the coughing under control...

I was not the one to bring home that $363 ticket for "not stoppping all the way."
(Still, what a BUMMER!)

I realized I left my wallet at home before filling up the shopping cart at the grocery store tonight.
I guess I didn't really need those groceries after all...
or that White Chocolate Mocha from the coffee drive-thru while I was in town.

Here's hoping that your Small Successes were better than mine!  ;)

  1. I can't believe they're all sick! Thank God for nursing antibodies! Sounds like a bummer of a week, hopefully next week will be better. The white chocolate mochas are my favorite too :)

  2. Oh no! That happened to me once with a basket full of groceries. We had totally gone through the check out and I opened my wallet and no debit card! IT was so embarrassing!!

And so glad little Rose isn't sick. You guys had a bad one sounds like. Sending prayerful get well wishes!

  3. Hope you all are feeling much better soon. No fun to have a house full of sickies.
Wow! That was a steep ticket! I've never heard of one that expensive for just failing to stop completely.
Sorry for your rough week. Next week will be better!!

  4. Did they let you leave your groceries in the walk-in refrigerated area in the back so you could go back for your wallet?

Gotta love those amazing antibodies! We all had the flu two weeks after my second was born... except for her, of course! Neither of mine have ever had a bad illness while they've been nursing.

Even if it was a rough week, the birthday party looked like a big success - how fun!!
